Motherhood

Updated: Oct 17, 2018

Mommas can we chat for a second?!?

I learned something awhile back that totally changed my perspective...& I HAVE TO SHARE IT!

Your children are made up of you, your genetics, your EVERYTHING.

When you say negative things about yourself or their father, they naturally internalize it and take it on as their own because they are a piece of you.

When you say “I’m so fat!!” “Ugh I’m just so forgetful” “my skin is soooo bad” “I can’t do that” you are telling them ALL of those things about themselves.

I hope I’m making sense.........bare with me.

I used to bad mouth justin “why can’t he pick up his socks, he is SO MESSY” or say “gosh my belly is so big, my clothes look terrible” but, then....learning this made it all click! These type of comments are hurting my children!

So today Momma, in spirit of my “back to school” challenge, I have a challenge for YOU.

You must say one thing positive about yourself that you are grateful for IN FRONT OF YOUR KIDS!!!!

This will instill confidence and self love into them! We all know how important it is to take care of ourselves, let’s show them how it’s DONE!
